Stability Ball Lockout

The Stability Ball Lockout is an exercise to work the serratus anterior and benefit shoulder health. In addition, it is a challenging core exercise while also working the triceps, chest and lats. Try to make sure the hips are slightly rotated posteriorly and the abs are engaged when starting the exercise. Reach your arms forward, allowing the shoulder blades to protract. Squeeze your hands into the ball, keeping your entire upper body tight. Hold the position as long as you feel able with good form.
