Shoulder Taps

Shoulder Taps are an excellent way to work your core, shoulders and triceps. Start in an extended arm plank position. Keep glutes and abdominals as tight as possible. Feet should be a little wider than shoulder width.

While in this position, reach one hand slowly toward the opposite shoulder and touch it. Return hand to floor and perform the same motion with opposite hand. Your body will want to sway and rotate, your job is to keep your body as motionless as possible by engaging your core muscles.

As you become more proficient at this exercise, you can move the feet closer. This will reduce your base of support, thus making you more unstable and the exercise more challenging.
