How To: Deadlift


As with the squat tutorial, it would be better for the head to be in a more neutral position as opposed to arching back.

Also, he demonstrates with shoes on. It can be fun to try deadlifts and squats without shoes as it increases your proprioception, which is a fancy way of saying you are more aware of your body and how it is moving through space.

I personally like a more hips back position with the torso even closer to parallel with the ground, but some differences in deadlifts or squats result from different body proportions rather than one form being correct or incorrect.
